Call of Duty’sdevelopers and Activision revealed the in-game model of Lara Croft operator on 12 July 2025. They tried to implement a bit of modern design on her 1996 version, resulting in one of the strongest interpretations of Ms. Croft ever. Albeit, it’s 2023, andCall of Dutytakes a more photorealistic approach to her character rather than the cartoonish appearance that we saw inFortnitein 2021. However, being the fanbase ofCall of Duty, people weren’t delighted with her design as they believed that developers made her way too masculine.

Is the Lara Croft operator too masculine in Call of Duty?
Fans ofCall of Dutyweren’t entertained at the sight of the new Lara Croft operator. Several comments have been made about the visuals of the character, and fans believe that it’s simply not that good. Since the release of her bundle, players haven’t been soft on her. Harsh criticism is being made towards the Tomb Raider Operator.

It was seen in the clip that Lara Croft is stomping her way even though she should have been agile and nimble. One of the players commented onthis,“Where’s the grace or the style? Lacking a lot of what made Tomb Raider good here. At least she’s rocking the dual pistols, and it looks like she’s tall, but still a miss for me.”
Another added under thetweet,“She looks like she wants to talk to the manager.”
“Think her finisher should simply be screaming ‘it’s ma’am.'”Other players shared their opinion under thepostas one more chipped in,“Making male characters female instead of making female characters cool.”
Lara Croft operator has stuck to the classic look, the braids along with the throwback outfit and the backpack while equipping the dual pistols. This version of the characters isn’t any less assured and battle-scarred than the Lara Croft from theSurvivor trilogy of Tomb Raidergames, welding bow and arrows!

How to get Lara Croft operator in Call of Duty and Warzone?
Lara Croft operator will be available with the Tracer Pack: Tomb Raider Operator bundle bundle inWarzone 2andModern Warfare 2. The Tracer Pack Tomb Raider Bundle has already been released on 9th September 2023.
Players can get the bundle from the in-game store inWarzone 2andModern Warfare 2. It can be bought with Call of Duty points directly if the player has enough points accumulated. The bundle is priced at 2,400 CoD points, approximately $19.99.

Call of Duty fans fix the character design of the Lara Croft operator.
A Redditor with the username u/Swiz19 made their own version of the Lara Croft operator. Many players under his post shared their thoughts and agreed that it was better than the actual design.

Although the design of the Lara Croft operator inCall of DutyandWarzonemay not be that appealing, it is a given fact that players will still buy her.
